Bot Translations
Translate the text and content your Telegram bot shows to customers, so shoppers see your store in their own language.
Why this matters
- Customers shop in their own language instead of English only
- Menu labels, checkout prompts, and error messages can all be localized
- English (en-GB) is always the fallback, so partial translations are safe
- Section content can be translated per language alongside bot strings
Overview
English (en-GB) is the default language and is always used as a fallback when a translation is missing or the translation service is unavailable.
Languages follow your store's countries
The languages you can translate into are tied to the countries your store operates in. When you sell into a country, its language becomes available as a column to translate:
| Country | Language code |
|---|---|
| United Kingdom | en-GB (default) |
| Germany | de |
| Spain | es |
| Czech Republic | cs |
| Malta | mt |
Add more countries to your store to unlock their languages here.
What you can translate
Open Translations from your dashboard. There are two tabs:
Bot strings
The labels and system messages the bot shows: menu items (e.g. How does it work?, User Guide, Coupons, Support, Products), cart and checkout prompts, and status or error messages (e.g. Our bot is currently unavailable, Could not load payment methods).
Sections
The content pages you've built under Sections (Intro, Help, FAQs, and so on), translated per language.

Translating a string
Find the string (use the search box), then click the pencil in the column for the language you want and enter the translation. Any string left blank falls back to English automatically, so you can translate incrementally.

English (en-GB) is always the fallback. Blank translations never break the bot — customers simply see the English text until you fill them in.
