How to Promote Your Bot

Trapyfy Telegram Marketing Guide — Version 1.0, July 2026. A simple launch guide for new merchants.

Now that your Trapyfy Telegram shop is built, you must attract visitors, earn their trust, and drive orders. This guide outlines initial steps and relevant Trapyfy tools for your launch.

Trapyfy provides comprehensive commerce features including storefronts, catalogs, order and inventory management, promotions, and kiosk workflows. Niftipay, Trapyfy's native payment layer, enables card, crypto, and QR checkouts where available, requiring no extra integration.

This is marketing guidance only. Always adhere to the specific product, age, and payment regulations governing your business and region.

1. What to Expect

Telegram can become a strong sales channel, but it usually builds in stages.

A subscriber follows your channel or group. A customer places an order. You need both: subscribers create the audience, customers create revenue.

  • Your first sale may happen within days if you already have customers or an audience. A steady rhythm of sales usually takes weeks.
  • The first 100–300 real subscribers are usually the hardest. Growth becomes easier once people see regular posts, reviews, restocks, and activity.
  • Treat the first 30 days as setup and learning. Do not judge the channel too early.
  • A smaller audience that trusts you is better than a large audience that ignores you.

2. The Simple Telegram Sales System

Use three Telegram tools together.

ToolWhat it doesWhy it matters
Telegram ChannelBroadcasts updates, products, restocks, offersGets attention
Telegram GroupLets customers ask questions and interactBuilds trust
Trapyfy Bot ShopLets customers browse, order, pay, and track ordersTakes the order

The channel brings people in. The group builds confidence. The bot shop handles the sale.

3. Before You Promote: Make Sure the Shop Works

Do not send traffic to an unfinished shop.

Before inviting customers, confirm:

  • Products are published
  • Product photos are clear
  • Prices are correct
  • Stock is available
  • Shipping or delivery is configured
  • Payment options are enabled and tested
  • Coupon codes work if you plan to use them
  • Your bot intro is complete
  • FAQ/help content is filled in
  • Your Telegram channel or group has a clear shop link

If your shop looks empty, check that products are published, priced, and stocked in the correct warehouse or location.

4. Connect or Confirm Your Telegram Bot

If your bot has not already been connected for you:

  1. Open Telegram and message BotFather.
  2. Send /newbot.
  3. Choose a display name for your bot.
  4. Choose a username ending in “bot,” for example: [yourstore]_bot.
  5. BotFather will give you a bot token.
  6. In Trapyfy, go to Organizations → Manage Platform Keys → Add Key.
  7. Select Telegram and paste the bot token.
  8. Open your bot in Telegram and send /start.
  9. Confirm the shop loads correctly.

Once the bot works, create a Telegram channel and add your bot link as the main call-to-action.

5. Your First 7 Days

Day 1: Check the shop

Make sure products, stock, prices, shipping, payments, intro, and FAQ are ready.

Day 2: Set up the channel and group

Create your Telegram channel. Create a group if you want customer conversation. Pin your welcome message.

Day 3: Announce the launch

Post your Telegram link everywhere you already have attention:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • TikTok
  • Website
  • Email list
  • WhatsApp
  • Existing customer messages
  • Receipts or packaging
  • Business cards
  • QR codes

Day 4: Invite existing customers directly

Your easiest first customers are people who already know you. Use this:

Hi [Name], we just launched our Telegram shop for easier ordering and updates. You can browse and order here: [Link].

Day 5: Post one product spotlight

Feature one product with a clear description, price, and direct bot link.

Day 6: Share a first-order offer

Give people a reason to try the shop. Create a coupon. Example:

Use code WELCOME10 for 10% off your first order.
Shop here: [Bot Link]

Day 7: Ask for feedback and reviews

Ask early customers what was clear, what was confusing, and whether they would leave a review.

6. Copy-Paste Launch Templates

Use these as starting points. Replace the bracketed sections.

7. How to Write Posts That Drive Orders

Every sales post should answer four questions:

  1. What is available?
  2. Why should the customer care?
  3. What does it cost?
  4. How do they order?

Weak post

New products available. DM to order.

Why this is weak:

  • No specific product
  • No price
  • No detail
  • No direct order link
  • Orders move into messy DMs

Strong post

Back in stock: [Product Name] [Short factual product detail] Only [X] units available Price: [Price] Tap to order: [Bot Link]

Why this works:

  • Clear product
  • Clear availability
  • Clear price
  • Clear next step
  • The order happens in the bot

8. How to Get Your First Customers

Your first customers usually come from people who already know you or already follow your business somewhere else.

Use your existing audience

Post your Telegram link on:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • TikTok
  • Website
  • WhatsApp
  • Email
  • Receipts
  • Packaging
  • Flyers
  • Business cards

Simple message:

Order updates, restocks, and offers are now available through our Telegram shop. Join here: [Link]

Use QR codes

QR codes reduce friction. Add them to:

  • Packaging
  • Receipts
  • Booth cards
  • Menus
  • Posters
  • In-store displays
  • Event materials

The QR code should lead directly to your Telegram shop or channel.

Use Kiosk mode for in-person sales

If you sell at a counter, pop-up, event, booth, or physical location, Trapyfy Kiosk mode can turn a tablet into a self-service ordering point.

Customers browse and order on the tablet, then scan a QR with their own phone to pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or crypto — no staff needed at checkout. Orders land in the same backend as your Telegram sales.

Use Kiosk mode to:

  • Capture in-person interest
  • Reduce manual order taking
  • Let customers browse at a booth or counter
  • Keep online and in-person orders in one system
  • Turn event traffic into repeat Telegram customers
  • Capture customer emails at checkout with a small discount offer — turning one-time event buyers into people you can bring back to your Telegram shop

Cross-promote with related channels

Find non-competing sellers or communities with a similar audience.

Look for:

  • Similar customers
  • Same city or region
  • Related product category
  • Active Telegram audience

Offer a simple shout-out swap using the template above. Do not mass-message random channels. Choose a few that actually fit.

9. Weekly Posting Rhythm

You do not need to post all day. Start with 3–5 useful posts per week.

DayPost TypeExample
MondayRestock or new arrival“Back in stock: [Product]”
TuesdayProduct spotlight“Today's featured product: [Product]”
WednesdayFAQ or education“How to choose the right [category]”
ThursdayOffer or coupon“Use code [CODE] today”
FridayReview or testimonial“What customers are saying”
WeekendBehind the scenesPacking orders, new stock, store update

Repeat what works. Do not post only discounts.

10. Trapyfy Tools to Use

Coupons

Use Marketing → Coupons to create discount codes.

Best for:

  • First-time buyers
  • Launch offers
  • Returning customers
  • Holiday promotions
  • Slow-moving stock

Do not overuse coupons. If everything is always discounted, customers stop trusting the normal price.

Tier Pricing

Use Marketing → Tier Pricing to encourage larger orders.

Example:

  • 1 item: standard price
  • 3 items: better price
  • 5+ items: best price

This can increase order size without relying on constant discounts.

Announcements

Use Marketing → Announcements to create, target, and schedule posts.

Best for:

  • Restocks
  • New arrivals
  • Shipping updates
  • Holiday hours
  • Limited-time offers
  • Popular products returning

This helps you stay consistent without writing every post manually.

Affiliate Levels

Use Affiliate Levels to create loyalty and referral rewards inside your bot.

Affiliate Levels allow you to:

  • Name customer levels
  • Set point thresholds
  • Reward repeat engagement
  • Encourage referrals
  • Send automatic level-up messages

Example:

Invite friends to the shop and earn points toward future purchases.

Niftipay

Use Niftipay to connect checkout, payment status, and order tracking.

Benefits:

  • Cleaner checkout
  • Better payment tracking
  • Easier reconciliation
  • Fewer manual errors
  • Faster order handling
  • Better order-to-payment visibility

Manual options such as cash on delivery, bank transfer, or manual PayPal confirmation can work as fallbacks, but they require more manual checking.

Tip: Niftipay on-ramping lets customers buy crypto during checkout, even if they do not already hold any. If your audience is crypto-friendly, this removes a common reason orders get abandoned.

You can mention this in a post:

“New: pay by card or crypto — and you can buy crypto right at checkout if you don't have any yet.”

11. Build Trust and Stay Safe

Customers are more likely to order when the shop looks real, clear, and active.

Use trust signals

  • Real product photos
  • Clear product names
  • Accurate prices
  • Honest stock information
  • Clear shipping or delivery details
  • Reviews or testimonials
  • FAQ section
  • Consistent posting
  • Fast replies
  • Structured checkout through the bot

Avoid trust killers

  • Vague product descriptions
  • Fake urgency
  • Too many exaggerated claims
  • Unclear pricing
  • “DM to order” on every post
  • No reviews
  • Empty channel
  • Broken links
  • Inconsistent stock or prices

Keep product language safe

Avoid:

  • Health or medical claims
  • Guaranteed results
  • “Cures,” “treats,” or “prevents” language
  • Claims you cannot prove
  • Misleading urgency
  • “100% guaranteed” promises
  • Anything that violates rules in your country or product category

Use safer language:

  • Describe what the product is
  • State size, format, category, price, and availability
  • Keep claims factual
  • Refer customers to official product information where appropriate

Example:

Instead of: This product will fix [problem].

Use: Available now in [size/type/category]. See product details in the bot.

Age and payment readiness

If your category requires age checks, verify age before payment or fulfillment.

Basic rules:

  • Know the age requirement for your product and market
  • Make age expectations clear before checkout
  • Do not accept orders from customers who do not meet the requirement
  • Confirm payment status before fulfillment
  • Keep pricing and stock consistent between posts and the bot shop
  • Keep order records structured in Trapyfy
  • In EU countries, card fees cannot be passed on to customers — price this in rather than adding it at checkout

This guide is not legal advice. When in doubt, check with a qualified advisor.

12. Track What Works

Check these numbers weekly.

MetricWhat it tells you
New subscribersIs your audience growing?
Post view rateAre subscribers actually seeing posts?
Link clicks / bot visitsAre posts driving action?
OrdersAre people buying?
Repeat customersAre people coming back?

How to read the numbers:

  • If subscribers grow but orders do not, improve your posts and offer.
  • If view rate falls, your content may be too repetitive or too sales-heavy.
  • If posts get views but no clicks, make the call-to-action clearer.
  • If people click but do not order, check the product page, price, shipping, payment, or checkout flow.
  • If people order once but do not return, use reviews, second-order coupons, tier pricing, Affiliate Levels, and follow-up messages.

13. Simple Launch Checklist
