Launch Your Store
The minimum setup required before taking live customer orders through a Trapyfy-powered Telegram storefront.
Do not go live until a full test checkout has been completed and verified in Trapyfy.
Sign in to Trapyfy
- Go to trapyfy.com and sign in with your merchant account.
- Confirm you are in the correct organization.
Confirm organization settings
- Open Organizations from the left-hand panel.
- Select the relevant organization.
- Confirm organization name and merchant/support contact information.
Connect the Telegram bot
- Create the bot in BotFather if not already done — type
/newbotand follow the prompts. - Copy the bot token generated by BotFather.
- In Trapyfy, go to Organizations → select your organization → Manage Platform Keys.
- Add or edit the Telegram platform key and paste the token.
- Save and confirm bot status.
Configure products
- Go to Inventory → View all Products.
- Confirm each product has a title, description, images, categories, SKU, and status set to Published.
- Products must be Published before they are visible to customers.
Configure country pricing
- Add pricing for the countries the merchant sells into.
- Products without pricing for a selected country may not appear or may not be purchasable.
- Prices are configured per country — there is no single global default currency required.
Configure product stock by warehouse
- Confirm the relevant warehouse exists and is assigned to the correct country.
- Open each product that should be sold.
- Go to the product Inventory tab.
- Under Stock Quantities by Warehouse, enter the quantity for the correct warehouse and country.
- Save the product.
Product availability depends on the product being published, priced for the selected country, and stocked in the correct warehouse through the product Inventory tab.
Configure shipping
- Go to Shipping → Shipping Methods.
- Add or confirm at least one active shipping method for the relevant country.
- Test that at least one shipping method appears during checkout.
Configure payment methods
- Go to Payment Methods.
- Enable Niftipay where integrated crypto or card payments are required.
- Enable Cash on Delivery only if manual/in-person payment is supported.
- PayPal and Bank Transfer are manual/external methods — they require merchant-side reconciliation.
- Card payments require Niftipay setup and payout wallet configuration. Card payments are not required for every merchant.
Review Sections / bot content
- Go to Sections.
- Review Intro, Help, FAQs, Coupons, Services, and other customer-facing bot menu content.
- Toggle visibility on or off as appropriate for launch.
Place a test order
- Open the Telegram bot and type
/start. - Enter the store. Select country/location if prompted.
- Browse products, add an item to cart.
- Apply a coupon if needed.
- Enter delivery details, choose shipping, choose payment.
- Confirm order creation.
Verify the order in Trapyfy
- Go to Orders.
- Open the test order.
- Verify customer information, products, shipping, payment method, totals, and payment status.
- Update order status as needed.
Common mistakes
Product not appearing in storefront
Check that the product is Published, pricing is configured for the selected country, and quantity is entered for the correct warehouse inside the product Inventory tab.
No shipping method at checkout
Confirm at least one shipping method is active for the customer's country.
Bot not responding to /start
Check the bot token in Organizations → Manage Platform Keys. Confirm no extra spaces and the bot is not connected to another service.
Payment method not appearing
Confirm the payment method is enabled and set to Show in POS/storefront where applicable.
Test order not going live
Card payments are not required to go live. Cash on Delivery is sufficient to complete a test order if Niftipay is not yet configured.
