Organizations

An organization is the unit everything else belongs to: its products, warehouses, orders, bots, payment methods and team. One login can belong to several.

In plain words

An organization is one shop. If you run two shops, you have two organizations, each with its own bot, products, stock and orders, and you switch between them with the picker at the top. Separate shops never mix their numbers.

The organizations list

Open Organizations in the sidebar. The table lists every organization you belong to with its Name, Slug and number of Members. Search by name, sort by name or member count, and page through at 10 per page.

The organization named at the top of the sidebar is the active one: every page in the dashboard shows that organization's data. Its Members count is the number of people who can sign in to it.

Creating an organization

Click Add Organization and complete the form:

1

Name(required)

The display name, shown at the top of the sidebar when the organization is active.

2

Slug(required)

The URL-friendly identifier: lower-case, hyphens instead of spaces.

3

Countries(required)

The countries the organization operates in. Search and pick one or more.

4

Industry

What the organization sells. Trapyfy uses it to tailor payment routes and defaults for the account.

5

Secret Phrase(required)

A phrase used to encrypt and decrypt the organization's sensitive data, such as bot tokens and API keys. It is never stored in plain text. Type your own or click Generate Secure Phrase, then Show to check it before saving.

Keep the secret phrase with your team. You are asked for it again when you update sensitive settings. Only your team knows it, so record it somewhere your team can find.

One organization per business. Separate brands with separate catalogues, teams or countries are separate organizations. Separate stock locations inside one business are warehouses, not organizations.
