Inventory Count
Walk the shelves, type what you actually see, and let Trapyfy tell you where the numbers disagree.
In plain words
The computer says 30. The shelf says 27. Three went missing, broke, or were given away and never written down. An inventory count is how you find that out on purpose instead of finding out when an order cannot be shipped.
You record what you counted; Trapyfy shows the difference line by line. That difference list is called a discrepancy report.
Where to find it
In the dashboard menu, open Inventory → Inventory count.
Do a count
- Click New count.
- Choose the warehouse you are standing in. One count covers one warehouse.
- Choose the count type — a full count of everything, or a partial count of a few products.
- Go and count. Type the quantity you really see for each product.
- Complete the count. You get the discrepancy report: expected, counted, difference.
Count when the shop is quiet. Orders that go out mid-count move the shelf underneath you, and then no number is trustworthy.
Managing the list
- Filter by reference, warehouse, count type or start date. The list updates as you type.
- Every count — finished or still open — shows its warehouse, type, start date and status.
- The row menu opens a count, exports a finished one to Excel or PDF, or deletes one that has not been completed.
A completed count cannot be deleted. It is your record of what the shelf held on that day — keep it for your accounts.
