Settlements and Payouts
How funds move from payment confirmation to your account. Settlement and payout management is handled by Niftipay. Trapyfy shows payment confirmation status on each order.
Settlement flow
Settlement timing varies depending on the payment method, blockchain or network conditions, and merchant configuration.
Settlement by payment type
Crypto payments
Crypto payouts become available after the blockchain transaction is confirmed and cleared on-chain. Confirmation time varies by network and asset (BTC, ETH, SOL, etc.).
Card payments
Card payment settlements follow a T+5 business day schedule. Funds are settled to the configured USDT ERC20 payout wallet after the settlement period completes.
Manual methods (Cash, PayPal, Bank transfer)
Manual payment methods require merchant-side reconciliation. There is no automated settlement — merchants confirm receipt and update order status manually.
Payout wallet
A USDT ERC20 payout wallet address is required for automated card payment settlements. This is configured in Niftipay settings inside the Payment Methods section.
- Wallet must be a valid USDT ERC20 address
- Settlements are paid out to this wallet after the T+5 period
- Without a configured payout wallet, card payment settlements cannot be processed
What Trapyfy shows
Trapyfy displays payment confirmation status within each order's detail view. This confirms that payment was received and the order can proceed to fulfillment.
For detailed settlement status, transaction history, and payout management, refer to your Niftipay merchant dashboard.
What merchants should do
- Verify payment confirmation in Trapyfy before starting fulfillment
- Configure a USDT ERC20 payout wallet in Niftipay settings for card payments
- Monitor settlement and payout status in the Niftipay merchant dashboard
- Account for the T+5 business day settlement schedule when planning cash flow
- Contact support if settlement or payout issues arise
EU restriction
Card service fees cannot be passed onto customers in EU countries. This applies to settlement configuration — merchants in the EU absorb card processing fees.
